About Coaching

Coaching (as the root of the word suggests) describes a relationship which is a vehicle for getting a person from “here” to “there”.  Sometimes, people come to coaching with a particular goal in mind; other times, exploring life and seeing the dream emerge is half the fun!

Coaching conversations are present and future oriented, moving to close the gap between where you are and where you’d like to be.

As your coach, I listen to your vision, affirm your values, build with you on your strengths, mine your wisdom to create steps forward, pay attention to the obstacles, and accompany you as you implement your intentions.

You choose your focus, explore the questions, create multiple strategies for moving forward, choose the action, experiment with the change, celebrate, learn and evaluate with a partner focused on your success.

The coaching relationship is a powerful partnership which offers the skills, support and accountability to enable one to reach for and accomplish more than one would on one’s own.

Frequency and length of coaching appointments are arranged between us at a pace which fits your purpose, schedule and budget.

In a typical coaching partnership, we agree to meet 2-4 times per month for about 45 minutes each time for the first 3 months, and then review and revise our schedule according to your evolving goals.  Between scheduled meetings, both e-mails and brief phone calls (to troubleshoot, share a resource, or celebrate a success) are included as part of the coaching relationship.  The monthly cost is from $250 to $450.  Other options may be negotiated and costs will vary depending on the partnership we design.

Whether you’re on a highway to a specific goal, or on a leisurely path to self-discovery, I invite you to create a coaching partnership that will serve and advance your intentions for your life. Please contact me to explore the possibilities.

You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover will be yourself.
